Turning convenience stores into round-the-clock remittance points
We designed and built CLiQQ Pera Padala, letting Filipinos send money through 7-Eleven stores at any hour, and giving the stores a fresh reason for customers to walk in.
Customers send money at a nearby store, day or night, with little time at the counter
The business problem
Many Filipinos, especially outside the cities, faced long trips, limited opening hours, queues and paperwork just to send money home. 7-Eleven, partnering with Palawan Express, saw a chance to use its vast, largely 24/7 store network to solve this and deepen its place in the community.
What we did
We designed the user experience, turning a complex service into a simple app flow that ends with a barcode scanned at the counter. Our developers built the application's interface and business logic, and our testers made sure it was reliable.
