The British Council Student and Parent Portal is live. The British Council is the UK's international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, operating on the ground across six continents and more than 100 countries.

The portal allows students to book English language courses, view their progress and enrolments, and make online payments. It also gives parents access so they can view the progress of their children.

Built for a global audience

Because the British Council works across so many countries, localisation is central to the portal. Users can view the site in local languages such as Bahasa, Espanol, Korean, and others.

The portal is also integrated with common payment gateways around the world, including KCP, HSBC, Chase, AsiaPay, and GOPI, giving each country a practical way to support online payments.

First releases

The site has initially been released in Korean and Indonesian. Over the coming months, it will be converted to cover more than sixty countries.
